Below is some important information from South Jersey Gas (SJG) to our neighbors, customers and business owners in Waterford, Berlin, Clementon, Lindenwold and other surrounding areas. This information pertains to work that will be performed to upgrade our pipeline facilities along the White Horse Pike/Route 30 from Genesee Avenue in Atco to Brand Avenue in Lindenwold/Clementon. Why is this project being performed? SJG’s natural gas distribution pipe is being replaced to comply with our infrastructure renewal plan. This may involve replacing you or your neighbor’s service line in conjunction with the gas main on your street. Where is this project taking place? Work will take place along the White Horse Pike/Route 30 with a majority of the installation occurring in the road surface. The project will be performed in two phases. All work will begin in mid-April. Phase I will take place from Genesee Avenue in Atco to Bishop Avenue in Berlin. This work will be conducted during the day generally between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Phase II will take place from Washington Avenue in Berlin to Brand Avenue in Lindenwold/Clemeton. This work will be performed between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. due to N.J. Department of Transportation regulations.
